Place Your HOPE in JESUS CHRIST the Champion

First and foremost I want to encourage you my friends to place your hope in Jesus Christ the Champion, Deliver, Savior, and soon returning King of kings and Lord of lords. To place your hope in mankind… Well, how has that turned out for ya?

As a Child

As a child, I thought how awesome it would be to live in the biblical days when Jesus walked upon the earth. Perhaps, I would be able to sit at His feet like Mary or prepare a feast like Martha in His honor. Maybe I could have traveled with Him as one of His disciples.

As an Adult

However, as an adult, God has honored me with the opportunity of living in the biblical days just prior to Jesus’ return to the earth! Likewise, He has blessed you with the same honor! We could have been born at any time since the creation of the world. But God had a special plan for you and me before we were born. AWESOMENESS!

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you [and approved of you as My chosen instrument], And before you were born I consecrated you [to Myself as My own]; I have appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Amplified Bible – Jeremiah 1:5

We all can be the:

I can hear you scoffing. “Some honor, the world has gone insane. I’m not a prophet. I am nobody in the grand scheme of things.”

Bingo! Just the person the Lord wants to use. He has appointed all of us as “prophets” to those in our little sphere of life. He has given us the opportunity to share the love of Jesus Christ with those in this dark time in which we live. Time is short. Jesus is returning soon to judge the world.

We all can be the:

• Smile in a person’s life
• Laughter to raise up the depressed
• Compassion of Jesus to the brokenhearted
• Hug given when others walk away
• Truth in a world of lies
• Tough love needed in a deceived world

We must be the Light of Jesus Christ bringing the Hope only found in Jesus Christ to a dark and dying world. This is the honor He has given us.

For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call on Me and you will come and pray to Me, and I will hear [your voice] andI will listen to you. Then [with a deep longing] you will seek Me and require Me [as a vital necessity] and [you will] find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

Amplified Bible – Jeremiah 29:11-13

And while we are spreading the HOPE in Jesus Christ our Champion, He has, is, and will take care of those who are backed by the father of lies as the following verses from Psalm 52-54 proclaim. Evil may appear to rule the day, however, not for long. There will be a day of judgment sooner than they realize.

So be encouraged as you read these wonderful Words from God.

Why do you boast about your crimes?

Why do you boast about your crimes, great warrior? Don’t you realize God’s justice continues forever? All-day long you plot destruction. Your tongue cuts like a sharp razor; you’re an expert at telling lies. You love evil more than good and lies more than truth. You love to destroy others with your words, you liar! (Ps 52:1-4)

Many names popped in my head when I read the above verses…Biden, Gates, Fauci, and many other faces, corporations, governments, etc. full of evil today.

BUT GOD. Precious words of HOPE!

⁵ But God will strike you down once and for all. He will pull you from your home and uproot you from the land of the living. ⁶ The righteous will see it and be amazed. They will laugh and say, ⁷ “Look what happens to mighty warriors who do not trust in God. They trust their wealth instead and grow more and more bold in their wickedness.” Why do you boast about your crimes, great warrior? Don’t you realize God’s justice continues forever? All-day long you plot destruction. Your tongue cuts like a sharp razor; you’re an expert at telling lies. You love evil more than good and lies more than truth. You love to destroy others with your words, you liar! (Ps 52:5-7)

⁸ But I am like an olive tree, thriving in the house of God. I will always trust in God’s unfailing love. ⁹ I will praise you forever, O God, for what you have done. I will trust in your good name in the presence of your faithful people. (Ps 52:8-9)

OK, I admit that it does my heart good when I am reminded that evil will not always prevail. Likewise, my Father is watching everything and everyone. Moreover, when I put my HOPE in God I will stand solid like the olive tree. The one pictured below is believed to be 4000 years old. Let’s be olive trees for God!

Only fools say in their hearts, “There is no God.”

God looks down from heaven on the entire human race; he looks to see if anyone is truly wise if anyone seeks God. [ The Amplified Bible adds, who requires Him, who longs for Him as essential to life]. But no, all have turned away; all have become [AMP: filthy and] corrupt. No one does good, not a single one!

Will those who do evil never learn? [AMP: Have workers of wickedness no knowledge or no understanding?]
They eat up my people like bread and wouldn’t think of praying to God. Terror will grip them, terror like they have never known before. For God will scatter the bones of your enemies. You will put them to shame, for God has rejected them. (Ps 53:1-5)

HOPE in Him

We see in the above verses that God watches the entire human race. Nothing can be hidden from His sight. (See Ps 139:1-18). He is searching for those who seek Him. Anyone who is truly wise will seek God. It’s only the fools who say in their hearts, “There is no God”. Moreover, it really upsets God that they destroy those who love the Lord. Therefore, He will be our champion in our time of need. It may not happen when and how you think it should but we can have HOPE in Him that HE WILL scatter their bones in due time! YES!!!

A Prayer Based on Ps 54:1-7

Heavenly Father,

Hear my prayer, my Lord. Listen to the words of my mouth. For strangers are attacking me; violent people are trying to kill me. They don’t care about you God.

However, I know that you alone Father God will be my helper, my Redeemer and my Champion. You Lord are the one that keeps me alive! Yes, You are my ally and the sustainer of my soul.

Lord, may the evil plans of my enemies be turned against them. Do as you promised in your Word and put an end to them. I look to you to pay back the evil to my enemies. In Your faithfulness destroy them for what they have done to your people around the world.

I will freely sacrifice my life to You. It is my honor to serve You Lord. I will praise Your name for it is good. For you Abba have and will deliver me out of all trouble.

You, Lord, are my Champion and You stand undefeated. I am who you say I am and You are the One that crowns me with confidence because I am seated in the heavenly places with the One who has conquered it all.

Champion

I’ve tried so hard to see it… Took me so long to believe it.
That You choose someone like me… To carry Your victory.
Perfection could never earn it… You give what we don’t deserve.
You take the broken things… And raise them to glory.

You are my Champion. Giants fall when You stand Undefeated every battle You’ve won.
I am who you say I am. You crown me with confidence.
I am seated in the heavenly place undefeated, with the One who has conquered it all.

Now I can finally see it. You’re teaching me how to receive it.
