A Pictorial Reading of Psalm 116

When I was considering what to call my blog/website in 2019, I had never heard of the bible translation called “The Passion Translation“. Then while shopping one day at Ross, I came across a little book of just the Psalms in “The Passion Translation“.

Consequently, Psalms being one of my favorite books of the Bible, I bought it to keep by my bed to read each night before going to sleep.

I enjoy reading and studying the book of Psalms. And I have read it many times. I have even written a study book on it. I have enjoyed reading the Psalms in “The Passion Translation“. For me it brought out the passion of the writers more clearly.

With all that said I wanted to share Psalm 116 with you. When I read Psalm 116 I was thinking about all that has been going on around us. I decided to put the Psalm into pictures that you can save and share if you like. Just start at the top and read each picture and take time to allow God to wrap His loving arms around you.

Lord how we need to keep our focus on You as we travel through 2021. Help us to do so in Your Name, Amen.
