Never doubt the unfailing love of God. We are His masterpieces, created in His image. Evolution is a lie from the pit of hell spewed out of the hearts and minds of those who refuse to bow their knee and submit their hearts to the God who created them. Exactly why Satan lost his position as the exalted cherub. Satan wanted to be like God.
I am convinced that no one understands the unfailing love of God better than the Hebrew people. Moreover, no one understands the consequences of disobedience better than they. This tiny nation learned that God was a forgiving God when they truly repented and returned to Him. Moreover, God states that He will not break His covenant relationship with them.
The Overflowing Love of God
The following is an excerpt from Answers in Genesis.
It is in the context of a fallen world of sin and rebellion that we find an even greater display of God’s overflowing love…In eternity past, God purposed to manifest the glory of his grace and love in the salvation of sinners through his Son (Ephesians 1:3–6)…Herein is the wonder and glory of God’s redeeming love, and it is twofold. Those he loved were not those who loved him. In fact, they loved themselves and were his enemies (Romans 5:8, 10). Secondly, the Son whom the Father loved and delighted in from all eternity was sent to bear the wrath of God in the place of their guilt (2 Corinthians 5:21).
In these last hours before God pours out His wrath on a Christ-rejecting world, I wanted to remind you how much He loves you. You never need to doubt His Love. I have gathered 54 Scriptures as a reminder that you can depend on the unfailing love of our God! Therefore, be encouraged and uplifted.

Let me encourage you as you read through the following scriptures to write down the ones where you perhaps thought, “I needed to read this today.” Better yet, you can print out this post in its entirety or your favorite parts using the print-friendly link at the bottom of this post.

God’s Unfailing Love Does not Excuse the Guilty
In Exodus 33:18, Moses asked God, “Please, show me Your glory.” The Lord responded:
“I will make all My goodness pass before you…I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.” But you cannot see My face; for no man shall see Me, and live.” And the Lord said, “Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock. So it shall be, while My glory passes by, that I will put you in the cleft of the rock, and will cover you with My hand while I pass by. Then I will take away My hand, and you shall see My back; but My face shall not be seen.” – Exodus 33:19-23
And it was so: “the Lord passed before him and proclaimed,“
“Yahweh! The Lord!
The God of compassion and mercy!
I am slow to anger
and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.
I lavish unfailing love to a thousand generations.
I forgive iniquity, rebellion, and sin.

David’s Personal Testimony of God’s Unfailing Love
The book of Psalms is a collection of 150 ancient Hebrew poems, songs, and prayers. Seventy-three of these psalms are connected to King David. The Lord chose the young shepherd to replace Saul as King. David was loved, then despised by King Saul, who tried many times to assassinate David. God declared him a man after God’s own heart. David was not perfect. The Bible tells us that he committed adultery with Bathsheba and had her husband murdered. However, he was quick to humble himself, repent, and seek God’s forgiveness when he sinned. David owned his mistakes and didn’t try to blame others or make excuses when confronted. Here are a few verses from the writings of David.

- “I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me.” – Ps 13:5
- “You give great victories to your king; you show unfailing love to your anointed, to David and all his descendants forever.” – Ps 18:50
- “Because of your unfailing love, I can enter your house; I will worship at your Temple with deepest awe.” – Ps 5:7
- “For the king trusts in the LORD. The unfailing love of the Most High will keep him from stumbling.” – Ps 21:7
- “Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever.” – Ps 23:6
- “I am always aware of your unfailing love, and I have lived according to your truth.” – Ps 26:3
- “Praise the LORD, for he has shown me the wonders of his unfailing love. He kept me safe when my city was under attack.” – Ps 31:21
- “I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul.” – Ps 31:7
- “Many sorrows come to the wicked, but unfailing love surrounds those who trust the LORD. ” – Ps 32:10
- “The LORD watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love. “
– Ps 33:18 - “Your unfailing love, O LORD, is as vast as the heavens; your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds.” – Ps 36:5
- “How precious is your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings.”- Ps 36:7

- “I am like an olive tree, thriving in the house of God. I will always trust in God’s unfailing love.” – Ps 52:8
- “In his unfailing love, my God will stand with me. He will let me look down in triumph on all my enemies.”- Ps 59:10
- “Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you!”- Ps 63:3

In Closing
When I think about the unfailing love of God, it reminds me of the “Did God Really Say” series I have been working on. My recent post looks at the question asked by an expert in religious law, which was:
“Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.” – Matt 22:34-40 NLT
The Apostle John reminds us:
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this, the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. – 1 Jn 4:7-11 NKJV
In this is love, not that we loved God,
but that He loved us and sent His Son
to be the propitiation for our sins.
