I am thrilled to share some exciting news about the future of Passionately Loving Jesus!
Beginning September 1st, our community is officially moving to Substack. If you are already a subscriber, you don’t need to do a thing—your subscription will automatically transfer to the new site, and you won’t miss a single post.
I first fell in love with the Substack community at the beginning of this year while following several inspiring writers. I quietly posted my very first article there back in February 2026, while continuing to share those same messages on PassionatelyLovingJesus.com.

From day one, my goal has been to keep the focus entirely on the Word of God. That is why you have never been “attacked” by the invasive, annoying ads that clutter so many websites today, and why I have never asked for donations. While WordPress and Hosting.com have been fantastic partners in keeping the original site running smoothly, the rising costs of maintaining an independent website continue to increase. Moving completely to Substack allows me to keep bringing you biblical encouragement and truth without the financial burden or the distraction of third-party ads.
If you are new to Substack, you are going to love it! It feels much less like a standard website and more like a family. Here is what you need to know:
- Direct to Your Inbox: Unlike Facebook or Instagram, where algorithms hide my posts from your feed, Substack sends every single update directly to your email inbox.
- Completely Free Access: My content remains free. If you aren’t subscribed, you can still read every public post directly in your web browser. If a pop-up asks you to subscribe, you can simply close it and keep reading. (Though I truly hope you will subscribe so we can stay connected!)
- A Vibrant Community: Just like other platforms, you can follow creators and interact with writers. Please note that while some creators on Substack charge a monthly fee for their work (blurring out articles unless you pay), my primary goal remains sharing God’s Word freely with you.
