The Devastating Domino Effect of Deception

Have you ever thought of today’s deceptions like falling dominoes? One deception leads to another and another. I call it the devastating domino effect of deception, which I will explain in just a bit. But first, as you may have noticed, I’ve not posted anything since the end of last November.

Winter Was Challenging

Generally, winters and I don’t get along. However, this year in Kentucky, winter was brutal. Usually, in the past, I tried to have subjects of interest lined up to ensure my sanity stayed intact until I reached the goal of March 1st (my first day of spring), forget what the groundhog says.

But this time, winter was a challenge. I was physically and mentally exhausted. I didn’t have energy to spare, which was unusual for me because I have a “Martha” type personality.

Just Crickets

Like “Martha” (Luke 10:38–42), I’m not happy unless I’m “doing something for the Lord”. As the winter went on, I felt uneasy and frustrated, like a caged tiger, because I hadn’t experienced these types of feelings in forever… I desperately needed to hear from my Abba, yet all I was hearing were crickets.

Of course, God is never silent. Usually, the silence we hear is because we’re too distracted by all the other “voices” to hear His voice. Eventually, once I began to focus on the Lord instead of “whining like a two-year-old I began to hear His still small voice clearly (1 Kings 19:12).

The problem was that I was allowing my head, which was doing the “whining,” to override what my heart was trying to tell me. Which was:

Stop focusing on the problem…

Start focusing on the Problem Solver!

After that lightbulb moment, the Lord gently reminded me that amid my busyness of “serving” Him, I was neglecting the importance of simply sitting at His feet. (Ouchy) While being “Martha-like” isn’t wrong, I had forgotten the priority Mary understood. (Luke 10:38-42).

Once Abba had “adjusted my mirrors,” He showed me that writing was not the focus at this time. I was to spend the time sitting at His feet as He prepared me to sound the alarm and reveal the Truth concerning the demonic lies and deceptions that are deceiving the masses.

The Watchman on the Wall

Ezekiel 33:2-6 tells us that if the watchman on the wall doesn’t sound the alarm to warn the people of what is coming, he is responsible for what happens to them. As Followers of Christ, we are all to be watchmen, warning others that today is the day of salvation. Danger lies ahead for those who reject the Truth. (Danger, danger, Will Robinson)

1 Samuel 15:22 reminds us that “obedience is better than sacrifice.” Therefore, if I am wrong about what I believe the Lord wants me to do, my philosophy is: I would rather risk being wrong by sharing what I believe the Lord is telling me than hold back out of doubt and fear, in disobedience.

And that brings me to what has been on my heart lately…

The Deception Question

How do we, as everyday people, determine what is and isn’t deception? It can be an overwhelming task, for sure. Could you be a victim of deception? How would you know if you are? What about our government? Surely, we can trust our elected officials, right? (Ok, I wanted to add a bit of snarky humor...)

No siree. Actually, the government has quite a history of spreading deception itself. Such as:

  • MK-Ultra: one of the covert CIA programs that began in the early 1950s.
  • The Tuskegee Study: From 1932 to 1972, African American men were deliberately left untreated for a disease just so scientists could study the disease’s progression.
  • Operation Mockingbird: Another CIA plan initiated by the CIA in the early 1950s to influence and control the news around the world by planting stories (propaganda) in the media.

Moreover, I’m sure you haven’t forgotten those small “g” gods called “fact-checkers” who pointed the finger at us because we were the ones spreading misinformation, disinformation, and malinformation. (Talk about “the pot calling the kettle black”).

Likewise, who could forget the hypnotic mantra “trust the science”? (Gag. a. maggot.) Can we call it what it is? Yes, we can! It is LIES, LIES, and more lies to control us and the narrative.

What is the Definition of Deception?

Simply put, deception aims to fool you into thinking a particular lie is true. In a series of posts on deception in 2021, I defined it this way:

Deception occurs when those who are deceived do not know or believe they are being deceived! Anyone can fall for it. No one is immune. In fact, if you think you can’t be deceived, that means you already are. – The Master of Lies and Deception

Fun fact: Psychologist Robert Friedman from the University of Massachusetts says 60% of people lie during a typical 10-minute conversation—averaging 2 to 3 lies in that short time frame!

Who is the Master of Deception?

Jesus Christ warned: “Take heed that no one deceives you” (Matthew 24:4). And who is the orchestrator of worldwide deception?

If you are a follower of Jesus Christ:

You will find the answer in the Word of God – John 8:44.

You are of your father the devil [Lucifer], and you want to do the desires of your father. He [Lucifer] was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he [Lucifer] tells a lie, he speaks from his own nature [Lucifer’s native language], because he [Lucifer] is a liar and the father of lies.

If you are NOT a follower of Jesus Christ:

You will find the answer in the Word of God – John 8:44; Jesus clearly stated:

You are of your father the devil [Lucifer], and you want to do the desires of your father. He [Lucifer] was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he [Lucifer] tells a lie, he speaks from his own nature [Lucifer’s native language], because he [Lucifer] is a liar and the father of lies.

If you are a deceived one who doesn’t believe there is a Creator, heaven or hell:

Your answer is also found in the Word of God – John 8:44; Jesus clearly stated:

You are of your father the devil [Lucifer], and you want to do the desires of your father. He [Lucifer] was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he [Lucifer] tells a lie, he speaks from his own nature [Lucifer’s native language], because he [Lucifer] is a liar and the father of lies.

You see, it doesn’t matter what you believe to be true. If it does not line up with the Word of God, you, my friend, ARE being deceived by the master of lies and deception. And there is only one remedy for the poison he inflicts.

The Dominos are Falling

As I mentioned earlier, I call this the “devastating domino effect of deception,” and the dominoes are falling. Below is a short listing of signs converging before our eyes:

  • Domino #1: Fake “Men of God” behind the pulpits in America who DO NOT have a biblical worldview.
  • Domino #2: These false shepherds produce “fake Christians” who are blinded by the master deceiver.
  • Domino #3: Supporting the deceptive teachings of the wolves in sheep’s clothing, we have the continual bombardment of propaganda from MSM broadcasters and social media “influencers.”

Therefore, what are the devastating results from the domino effect of deception #1-3? The belief of dominoes #4-9.

    Are you following what I am saying? A person who allows themselves to be spoon-fed for any reason is willingly ingesting the poison of deception. This is cultic zombie behavior. It is a cancer of the heart and mind that will metastasize and eventually kill them.

    THE ONLY Cure comes from the Word of God.

    Jesus Christ

    IS THE Way, THE Truth, and THE Life.

    Therefore, without choosing to apply the cure Jesus provided for us, there can be no hope for your eternal future. Domino #10 reveals what is in store for the majority.
