A-C Verses

  • Abandon Me- Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, he is the one who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. Deut 31:6
  • Be Destroyed- “Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.” Ps 145:13
  • Be Pleased Without Faith- But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Heb 11:6 (NKJV)
  • Be Selfish- “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” Ro 8:32
  • Be Silenced- “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” Matt 24:35
  • Be Stopped- “I know that You can do everything and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You. Job 42:2
  • Be Tempted to do Wrong-  God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else. Jas 1:13
  • Be Unholy- And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!” Is 6:3
  • Break a Promise- “My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips” Ps 89:34
  • Cast Away the Blameless- Behold, God will not cast away the blameless. Jn 9:31
  • Change- I am the Lord. I do not change.” Mal 3:6 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Heb 13:8
  • Change His Mind- Bound Himself with an oath, so that those who received the promise could be perfectly sure that He would never change His mind.  Heb 6:17

D – P Verses

  • Deny Himself- If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful,
    for he cannot deny who he is. 2Ti 2:13 
  • Fail to Act- God is not a man … Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Nu 23:19 
  • Fall Asleep- Behold, He that keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. Ps 121:4
  • Forget Me- Can a woman forget her suckling child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Is 49:15
  • Get Tired- Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. Isa 40:28
  • Ignore the suffering- He does not ignore the cries of those who suffer.  Psa 9:12
  • Leave Me- I will never leave you, nor forsake you. Heb 13:5
  • Leave Work Unfinished- Being confident of this very thing, that He which began a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Phil 1:6
  • Lie- So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie.  Heb 6.18
  • Permit the Righteous To Be Moved- Cast your burden on the LORD, and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved.  Ps 55:22

R – W Verses

  • Reject the Repentant- A humble and repentant heart you will not reject. Ps 51.1
  • Remember Sins He’s Chosen to Forget- I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions for My own sake; and I will not remember your sins. Is 43:25
  • Renege on a Promise- God is not a man … Has he ever promised and not carried it through? Nu 23:19 
  • Show Favoritism Then Peter replied, “I see very clearly that God shows no favoritism. Acts 10:34-35
  • Stop Loving Me- Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving-kindness, I have drawn you. Jer 31:3
  • Stop Thinking About Me- How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand. Ps 139:17-18
  • Sweep Life Away- God does not just sweep life away; instead, he devises ways to bring us back when we have been separated from him.  2Sa 14:14 
  • Take on a Job He Can’t Handle- Ah, Lord God! Behold, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you. Jer 32:17
  • Take Pleasure in Death of the Wicked- As surely as I live, says the Sovereign Lord, I take no pleasure in the death of wicked people. Eze 33:11
  • Tolerate Evil- But you are pure and cannot stand the sight of evil.    Hab 1:13
  • Tolerate Perverted Justice- God does not tolerate perverted justice, partiality, or the taking of bribes. 2Ch 19:7 
  • Withhold Good ThingsThe Lord will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. Psa 84:11
