Did God Really Say

Did God really say was the question the father of lies asked Eve in the garden. Eve should have responded, “God said, you shall not eat…” end of story. However, Satan is the master of twisting God’s Words and sowing doubt into people’s minds.

Many in America and around the world “claim” to be Christians, but only 4% have a biblical worldview.

Did God Really Say the Road to Hell is Wide?

Jesus said in Matt 7:13-14: “Enter at the narrow gate, for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who are going through it, because small is the gate and narrow is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” MEV…

A different version states Jesus’ Words this way:

Heaven can be entered only through the narrow gate! The highway to hell is broad, and its gate is wide enough for all the multitudes who choose its easy way.” “But the Gateway to Life is small, and the road is narrow, and only a few ever find it.” TLB

To be a true Christian means that you have been born again, and Jesus is Lord in your life. You live according to His standards as revealed in the Scriptures, which are God’s Words (not man’s words or ideas) to mankind.

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.” – 2 Peter 1:20-21

Did God Really Say Everyone Goes to Heaven?

However, the sad truth is that if only 4% have a biblical worldview, then 96% of those claiming to be “Christians are not who they say they are. They are the deceived of Satan, the father of lies. (See Jn 8:44). They follow men’s ideas instead of the Truth of God’s Word.

This destroyer of men’s souls has convinced the masses that the Word of God is like a smorgasbord restaurant. For a price, you can pick and choose what you want to eat and leave the rest. However…

31 “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, … 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world… BUT41 “He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:

The price is steep, a one way ticket to join him in the Lake of Fire forever.

Prophecy is Unfolding

Prophecy is unfolding and converging before our eyes, and Jesus told His followers in Luke 21:28, “When these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, for your redemption is drawing near.”

That redemption is the appearing of Christ known as the Rapture, a translation from the Latin word rapiemur. Jesus’s appearing is to rescue His followers from the approaching seven years of God’s wrath against a Christ-rejecting world.

The Lord himself will come down from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. And the people who have died and were in Christ will rise first. 17 After that we who are still alive at that time will be gathered up with those who have died. We will be taken up in the clouds and meet the Lord in the air. And we will be with the Lord forever. – 1 Thes 4:16-18

We Must Abide in Him

I need to warn you that time is short, and playtime is over. I do not want anyone to be surprised and left behind. Therefore, I am on a quest to create “easy to access” lists of Scriptures where we can examine ourselves to be sure we are living as God has specified in His Word.

In 1 Jn 2:28 we are instructed to: “abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.”

“Now, “he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.” – 1 John 3:24

What does it mean to “abide in Him”?

To “abide” is to live, continue, or remain; so, to abide in Christ is to live in Him or remain in Him. When a person is saved, he or she is described as being “in Christ” (Romans 8:12 Corinthians 5:17), held secure in a permanent relationship (John 10:28–29). Therefore, abiding in Christ is not a special level of Christian experience; rather, it is the position of all true believers. The difference between those abiding in Christ and those not abiding in Christ is the difference between the saved and the unsaved. – GotQuestions.org

We are also told in 1 John 3:6 – “Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.” That is as clear as it gets.

My Prayer

My prayer is that you will join me as together we examine ourselves throughout this series of posts to discover God’s truth (the only truth there is) and not allow ourselves to be deceived and face eternal judgment, as the many who are on the wide path of destruction.

Maranatha!

Until next time,

I am Passionately Loving Jesus, the Anchor of my Soul.

Do you have a relationship with Jesus Christ? Today is the day of Salvation!

NOTE: Scriptures are from the NKJV and MEV versions.
