A New Year’s Poem of Encouragement and Hope

If you haven’t noticed, we are rushing like a locomotive without breaks on a collision course into the end of the church age and the beginning of the worst seven years since Genesis 1:1. Therefore, I wanted to share something that has been in short supply for the past two years. Encouragement and Hope in Jesus Christ. He is the Rock we can stand on in 2022.

Remember These Three Truths

Whatever occurs in 2022 you can have the assurance that the Lord is watching over you!

A New Year’s Poem of Encouragement

We can be assured in 2022,

Our God watches over me and you.

There’s no need to struggle with anxiety, or fear.

No need to question why we’re still here.

There’s more work to be done that’s abundantly clear.

Jesus’s return is drawing near.

If your heart is broken and in need of repair,

Perhaps you may be wondering, does anyone care?

There is One we can depend on,

So please, do not dispair!

Jesus promised to us, He will always be there.

He keeps track of our sorrows,

Never slumbers or sleeps.

Our tears in a bottle, He does keep.

So, lift your eyes toward the heavens,

Lift your voice in praise.

To the One who redeemed you,

And conquered the grave.

Never worry who to trust or who to believe.

Jesus is the Truth; He will never deceive!

He is returning soon for His spotless Bride.

And we will reign with Him as we sit at His side.

What Hope is ours! Oh, how can it be?

That Jesus would love such a one as you and me!

Bonnie Crowell

God loved me even before He made the world and chose me in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes. God decided in advance to adopt me into His own family by bringing me to Himself through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure. Eph 1:4-5

You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. Ps 56:8 (NLT)

“Therefore, I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on. . .  [For] your Father knows that you need them. Instead, seek his kingdom, and these things will be added to you.” Lk 12:22, 30–31

I look up to the mountains; does my help come from there? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps. The LORD himself watches over you! The Lord stands beside you as your protective shade. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon at night. The LORD keeps you from all harm and watches over your life. The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.Psalm 121

Thank you for the poem. Jesus knows us better than we know ourselves. He knows what we need before we recognize that we need it. He is our Savior, comforter and friend. On Him we can always depend.
