Time Flies or Does It?

Can you believe that we have completed one-fourth of 2020? What a year so far! Only God our Father knows what the rest of the year will hold. It seems that time flies or does it?

That would depend on each person’s situation and outlook. For instance, if you have a family of school-age children, time could be dragging. Perhaps you are blessed to be working from home. Likewise, if you no longer have employment opportunities time could be dragging on and on.

As you get older

My mom would tell me that as you get older, time seemed to fly by. And as a child, I thought she was nuts. I thought I would never become an adult. I remember asking her when I would become a woman. Now, however, I can attest that she was right!

When we are young we think we are invincible and will live forever. We have all the time in the world. and we are very self-focused. We have all the time for everything WE desire, but no time if we are honest with ourselves for the truly important things in life.

So since the world has changed in a twinkling of an eye how are you spending all that time that you have been given? Where is your focus now?

If you are a caregiver or work in the medical field you may be overwhelmed with the current situation. I personally want to applaud you for your heroism. As well as first responders in any field.

Let me encourage everyone that God is still on the throne and Jesus Christ is returning soon. I hope that you are spending some of this time seeking Him and being thankful that He will never leave us or forsake us!

This is I believe a final wakeup call to those who proclaim to follow Christ. We need to get our priorities in order. Yes, time flies. You never realize how much something means to you until it is taken away. God, family, and friends are the most precious possessions.
