We Have Failed to Seek God

A Message for Those Who Call Themselves Christians

Well, that is not a very encouraging title, is it? However, I am convinced the title is a true statement of fact. We have failed to seek God. Moreover, the heart of God is grieved because of it. Stay with me here as I share why I believe that the title of this post is truthful.

I was born in January 1956. I was told by my mom it was Friday the 13th. Moreover, I was a young child as the culture in our country was changing. As I became older, I understood that some changes were good. Other changes were bad. Then there were changes that were downright ugly!

When I was born, God was still on the throne in our nation. But Satans plans to remove God from His throne in our American culture were beginning to come to pass. The Shepherds were sleeping on the job. The Watchmen were silent. The masses were not paying attention or worse did not think it could happen in the greatest country on earth.

Warnings Before Judgments

However, the flock is also to blame for the coup of satan’s minions in our country. We do not spend time in the Word of God ourselves. If we did we would realize that God has told us what to expect in these last days. (see Mat 24:3-44; 2 Tim 3:1-5; 2 Peter 3:3-7) Moreover, our Lord always reveals warnings to His people before judgment is released. Always! Those who are spoon-fed from the pulpits and do not search the scriptures for themselves have no idea if the food they are eating is laced with poison. Satan depends on you not checking up on what you are being taught. He has many wolves masquerading as Shepherds.

We are currently living in the moments before the “Catching Away” aka Rapture and the Tribulation spoken of in the book of Revelation. Unfortunately, many who call themselves followers of Christ haven’t a clue. Likewise, you do not hear many in our pulpits expounding on what to be looking for and encouraging the flock to be ready in these last days.

15 “For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.  18 Therefore encourage one another with these words.

1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 (ESV)

in the twinkling
Return of our Savior

“After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands…13 Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, “Who are these, clothed in white robes, and from where have they come?” 14 I said to him, “Sir, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation…

Revelation 7:9-14 (ESV)

Fairy Tales?

Many “Christians” believe the Bible is all made up, a bunch of fairy tales. Moreover, the Rapture if it’s true and the Tribulation is years away, so they think. Many then state, I’m not ready, I still want to…? Maybe your glasses need to be checked because they seem not to be focused correctly!

What is so much more important than where you spend eternity? Is continuing to live in a world that has turned it’s back on God and is going through remedial judgments as a wake-up call more important? Likewise, do you want to take the chance of ignoring the signs and possibly living during the Wrath of God’s judgments? Not me!

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.” – Romans 1:18

But because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.” – Romans 2:5

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.” – Ephesians 5:6

Then I saw another sign in heaven, great and amazing, seven angels with seven plagues, which are the last, for with them the wrath of God is finished.” Revelation 15:1

If your focus is on the Lord and His Word, you would understand our “real” life is with the Lord. This world is not our home. Thank God! Even at it’s best, it is nothing compared to what awaits what the Lord has prepared for us who truly follow the Lord.

“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

1 Corinthians 2:9 (MEV)

Many Opportunities

Why do I say we have failed? Because God is merciful and has given us many opportunities to return to Him and make Him our priority. However, we have not repented of our sins in earnest as a nation.

Like the Israelites in the desert, when life was tough, they cried out to God and He showed them mercy. However, they quickly forgot what God had done and began to complain to Moses. They didn’t call on God or give Him thanks for what He had done. Likewise, they did not seek His face for the new need the faced. They complained and blamed Moses, over and over and over…

We are not any different. We call out to drugs, alcohol, sex, money, government, you name it. Shopping, video games. You get the idea. Rarely do we call out to the One who will never fail us!

9/11 was allowed by God as a wakeup call. Did we repent? No. Weather catastrophes, locusts, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions. Everything that God told us would happen in the last days is happening. Have we repented as Daniel did for our nation and seek His face? (see Daniel 9:1-19) Very few of us do.

God's Mercy
God’s Mercy

God’s Mercy

After the first Non-American president in history celebrated how he fundamentally changed America, God had mercy once again because for a short period before the elections Christians did come before the throne of God for mercy and repented. God relented and He placed President Trump in office. We began to see improvement in our country and less persecution for followers of Christ and then after a couple of years our focus slowly turned to what the President and the government were going to do to continue to Make America Great Again.

Did you catch that? What the government was going to do. We switched our focus from what God was going to do, to what government was going to do. We forgot that only God in His mercy could really Make America Great Again.

This is a natural tendency of humans that we need to be aware of and repent of. Again, Satan hopes your focus is always turned from God to anything else. It makes his job so much easier. Why do you think that it appears that the demons of hell themselves have been released in Washington D.C.? The minions of the satanic plan are furious God intervened on our behalf.

Fake Fabricated Chaos

Fabricated Chaos
Fabricated Chaos

This fake virus tragedy could have been avoided. When I say fake, what I mean is the virus is real. However, the chaos and predictions were fabricated hype to scare the public. It was a test by those who think they are in power such as Bill & Melinda Gates, Dr. Faucci & Brix, WHO, and the United Nations just to mention a few to see how easy it would be to bring the USA and the world to a standstill. Moreover, it allows the global agenda elites to have a crisis where they can ride to the rescue with all the global changes they have been preparing for decades.

The real killer in this pandemic is the fear and the chaos
The real killer in this pandemic is the fear and chaos

The real killer in this pandemic is the fear and the chaos, not the virus. Things will not go back to normal. Look how easy it was to get people to give up “temporarily” freedoms on 9/11. Likewise, we closed the doors to our houses of worship and business and stayed 6 feet apart like good little citizens. But Liquor stores and abortion clinics were essential businesses? Really? Corporate worship isn’t essential? God’s Word says it is!

24 “And let us consider how to spur one another to love and to good works. 25 Let us not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but let us exhort one another, especially as you see the Day approaching.” (emphasis added)

Hebrews 10:24-26

Preparing the Flock

Pastors, God says do not forsake the assembling together. especially as you see the Day approaching. Open the doors to the worshipers! Perhaps now is the time to begin meeting in homes and making plans for when those in power decide it is against the law to meet in public! Are you preparing your flock?

I believe if God’s people had continued to look to Him and repent, He would have continued to hold back the approaching tribulation a bit longer. However, as we continue to ignore the obvious signs around us, the approaching hoofbeats loom closer. Therefore, this is why I say we have failed. We have failed to trust in God to do what He says in His Word He will do.

God Never Fails
God Never Fails

God Never Fails

As long as we keep looking to man to take care of our needs instead of God, we can expect fear and chaos to rule. When we turn and trust God who NEVER FAILS, we can have peace in the midst of the satanically driven chaos because God is still and will always be on the throne!

Philippians 4:19 (ESV) – And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 13:8 (ESV) – Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Isaiah 46:10 (ESV) – Declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,’

Isaiah 14:24 (ESV) – The Lord of hosts has sworn: “As I have planned, so shall it be, and as I have purposed, so shall it stand,

Ezekiel 12:28 (ESV) – Therefore say to them, Thus says the Lord God: None of my words will be delayed any longer, but the word that I speak will be performed, declares the Lord God.”

Numbers 23:19 (ESV) – God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?

Matthew 24:34-35  (MEV) – 34 Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. 35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.

Yes, I believe we have failed, but praise God we can reach out to God for forgiveness and continue to follow Him for He never fails!

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.Romans 8:1
