Table of Contents
Life would be much easier if we would accept the fact that we as finite humans do not know it all. There is One who does know it all. We should humble ourselves and learn from the God who teaches us; Our Creator and Lord. Yahweh is His name and He loves us! Review the scriptures below and be encouraged!
The Lord Declares:
- “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow. Isaiah 48:17
- “Anyone who listens to my [Jesus] teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock. Matthew 7:24
- But anyone who hears my [Jesus] teaching and doesn’t obey it is foolish, like a person who builds a house on sand. Matthew 7:26
- To those who listen to my [Jesus] teaching, more understanding will be given, and they will have an abundance of knowledge. Matthew 13:12
- Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. John 8:31
- I tell you the truth, anyone who obeys my [Jesus] teaching will never die! John 8:51
The Lords Teachings:
- They are perfectly true. Psalm 119:142
- More valuable than millions in gold and silver. Psalm 119:72
- Contain wonderful truths Psalm 119:18
- Are trustworthy Psalm 19:7
- Guide us Psalm 73:24
- Sustain us with joy Psalm 119:92
- They are the key to life. Proverbs 4:13
- It gives light, so even the simple can understand. Psalm 119:130
Benefits of Following His Teachings
- Those who listen to instruction will prosper. Proverbs 16:20
- Obey my commands and live! Proverbs 7:2
- Listen to my instruction and be wise. Proverbs 8:33
- Joyful are people of integrity, who follow the instructions of the Lord. Psalm 119:1
- Those who love your instructions have great peace and do not stumble. Psalm 119:165
