88 Conditional “I Am” Truths

What is The Condition?

I have found 93 “I am” statements. 88 of them specifically apply to a citizen of God’s Kingdom. Moreover, I have only found 5 positive statements for non-citizens. For the 88 conditional “I am” truths to apply to someone, the obvious condition to be met is BEING a citizen of the Kingdom of God.

Consequently, if you have not made the decision to be born again, the following promises, benefits, and privileges WILL NOT APPLY. However, DON’T DISPAIR!

What Must I Do to Become a Citizen?

God has a wonderful plan for each of us (Jer 29:11-13). To become a citizen of God’s Kingdom you first have to make the decision to pledge your allegiance to God’s kingdom. Some people use the term being saved or being born again. This simply means repenting of your sins and switching from the worldly system ruled by Satan. Once you repent and turn to Christ as your Lord and Savior you regain your rightful place in the Kingdom of God.

Once you make the choice to follow Jesus Christ the King of kings and Lord of lords, you will be immediately granted the assurance of obtaining 88 conditional “I am” truths listed below and so much more!

All Humanity Can Say:

• I am/a:
  1. Fearfully and wonderfully made – Ps 139:14
  2. Made in the Image of God – Gen 1:27
  3. God’s masterpiece – Eph 2:10
  4. Greatly Loved by God – Jn 3:16; Rom 1:7
  5. Understood by God – Ps 139:1

However, As a Citizen I Am:

1. Being transformed into the same image of Jesus by the Spirit of the Lord. – 2Cor 3:18
2. Blameless & free from accusation – Col 1:22
3. Crucified with Christ – Gal 2:20
4. Destined to look upon the face of Christ and someday be like him – 1 Jn 3:2
5. Forgiven of all my sins & washed in the Blood – Eph 1:7
6. Free from the power of sin – Rom 6:22
7. Looking forward to a home yet to come for this world is not my permanent home – Heb 13:14 
8. Looking forward to the new heavens and new earth God has promised, a world filled with God’s righteousness – 2Pet 3:13
9. Member of Christ’s Body – 1Cor 12:27
10. New creation in Christ – 2Cor 5:17
11. No longer a slave to sin – Rom 6:6
12. Not condemned – Rom 8:1
13. Not of this world – Jn 17:16
14. Reconciled to God through Jesus Christ – 2Cor 5:19
15. Redeemed through Christ’s blood – Col 1:14
16. Redeemed from the Curse of the Law – Gal 3:13
17. Redeemed from the hands of the enemy – Ps 107:2
18. Sanctified in Christ Jesus – 1Cor 1:2
19. Saved by God’s grace – Eph 2:5
20. Sanctified & one with the Sanctifier – Heb 2:11
21. Temporary resident and foreigner of this world – 1Pet 2:11

I Am Part of God’s Family

• I am/a:
  1. Adopted by God as his own child & have received God’s Spirit – Rom 8:15
  2. Able to share in the inheritance that belongs to God’s people – Col 1:12
  3. Born of God, & the evil one does not touch me – 1Jn 5:18
  4. Child of God – Jn 1:12
  5. Christ’s friend – Jn 15:15
  6. Complete in Christ – Col 2:10
  7. God’s child by faith in Christ Jesus – Gal 3:26
  8. Not rejected by God for I am His special possession – Ps 94:14
  9. Part of God’s family – 1Pet 2.10

Citizens are Heirs of God

• I am/a:
  1. An heir of God through Christ – Gal 4:7     
  2. God’s heir & God’s promise to Abraham belongs to me – Gal 3:29
  3. Joint-heir of God’s glory with Christ – Rom 8:17   
  4. Raised up with Christ & seated in heavenly places – Eph 2:6

Security As a Citizens of God’s Kingdom

• I am/a:
  1. Certain that God, who began the good work within me will continue His work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.- Phil 1:6
  2. Delivered from the power of darkness & translated into God’s kingdom – Col 1:13
  3. Not condemned – Rom 8:1
  4. Not crushed nor in despair even if I may be perplexed or hard-pressed on every side – 2Cor 4:8
  5. Protected by God’s power – 1Pet 1.5
  6. Sealed by God and given his Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee – 2Cor 1:22
  7. Secure because God is my refuge – Pro 14:26

Citizens are Kingdom Ambassadors

• I am/a:
  1. Ambassador for Christ – 2Cor 5:20
  2. Anointed by God – 1 Jn 2:27
  3. Called of God to be the voice of His praise – Ps 66:8
  4. Called to be a saint – 1Cor 11:2
  5. God’s elect – Titus 1:1
  6. God’s fellow worker – 1Cor 3:9
  7. God’s messenger to the world – Acts 1:8
  8. Servant of the Most-High – Acts 16:17
  9. United with Jesus – Rom 7:4

Citizens are Ministers and Priests of the King

• I am/a:
  1. A chosen generation, a royal priesthood, & a holy nation – 1Pet 2:9
  2. A Living stone that God is building into His spiritual temple – 1Pet 2.5
  3. Appointed by Christ to bear His fruit – Jn 15:16
  4. Called to be part of His holy people – Rom 1:7
  5. Child of Light & a child of the day – 1Thes 5:5
  6. Gifted by God to serve others -1Pet 4:10
  7. Holy priest – 1Pet 2.5
  8. Life-giving perfume to those who are being saved – 2Cor 2:16
  9. The light of the world- Mt 5:14
  10. The righteousness of God in Christ – 2Cor 5:21
  11. The salt of the earth – Mt 5:13
  12. The temple of the Holy Spirit; I am not my own – 1Cor 6:19
  13. The temple of the living God-2 Cor 6:16

I Am a Kingdom Warrior!

• I am/a:
  1. Filled with the Holy Spirit – Acts 2:4
  2. Led by God in a triumphal procession – 2Cor 2:14
  3. More than a conqueror through Christ – Rom 8:37
  4. Not moved by what I see – Rom 4:19
  5. Overcomer by the blood of the Lamb & the word of my testimony – Rev 12:11
  6. Overcomer, because God in me is greater than he who is in the world – 1 Jn 4:4
  7. Soldier of Jesus Christ – 2Tim 2:3
  8. Strengthened with all might according to His glorious power – Col 1:11
  9. The Dreadful smell of death & doom, to those who are perishing – 2Cor 2:16
