The Lord is My Anchor

After posting headlines for the past four or so months, I needed a break. This is why I have been silent for the past few weeks. However, I am so thankful that the Lord is my Anchor.

I have been sharing weekly that according to the Word of God after the Rapture of the Followers of Christ, the world will be begging for a savior. Having rejected the true Savior they will readily accept this man who appears to have all the right answers. This man is THE Antichrist. He will promise peace but will actually be powered by Satan to do Satan’s bidding.

The purpose of sharing these headlines was to act as a wakeup call for people to realize that time is short.

After posting headlines for the past four or so months that declare the times we live in are coming to an end, I became overwhelmed and frustrated.

Over and over, week after week it was the same people/problems and evil everywhere you looked. I was wondering why people could not see where this is heading.

Out of Balance

I’m just trying to be real here. I can get so frustrated and wonder why should I care if they don’t? Is what I am doing even having an impact on others Lord?

You see, I can get so focused on “doing” for God, I forget to just “be” with God. What I needed was a bit of a spiritual reset. I was out of balance.

I forget that my job is to be obedient to His leading. It’s His job to produce the results. When I try to do God’s job I become overwhelmed and frustrated.

It is so easy to get out of balance in our lives. Especially when it appears that mankind has lost his mind! However, God is still on the throne and is in full control. He is my Anchor, my Hope, and my Soon Returning King! Spending time with Him brings me back into balance.
