Don’t Give Up!

Today in this fast-paced world we live in, it is easy to feel swallowed up, insignificant, worthless. We don’t seem to have time for each other like we used to. Have you ever had a thought as one of these below? Are you thinking one of them now? Don’t give up!

• I’m so lonely.
• If only someone would really love me.
• I don’t know where to turn.
• I’ll never amount to anything.
• I can’t keep going like this.
• Does anyone care that I exist?
• Is there no one I can trust?

Jesus Christ the Messiah cares and loves you! He is waiting with His arms open wide for you to step into His embrace. He loves you so much that He gave His life for you. That is true love.

Hard Times?

Let me ask, are you going through a hard time right now? Are you feeling like the whole world is sitting on your shoulders? Do you imagine people require more of you than what you can give? Be encouraged by the following verses.

• The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Psalm 9:9
• Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall. Psalm 55:22
• Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

No One to Trust?

Do you think that you are surrounded by people that you can not trust? Is there no one that you can trust to share your innermost thoughts with, without being rejected? You can ALWAYS trust Jesus Christ, the One who gave His life for you!

• Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. Proverbs 3:5-6
• Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you. Psalm 9:10
• Many sorrows come to the wicked, but unfailing love surrounds those who trust the Lord. Psalm 32:10

His Love is Forever

Think again if you believe that you are not loved, or unworthy of love. You are wonderfully made in the image of God. In fact, read the following passages describing God’s love for you and be encouraged.

• The Lord is compassionate and merciful, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. Psalm 103:8
• For his unfailing love toward those who fear him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. Psalm 103:11
• The love of the Lord remains forever with those who fear him. Psalm 103:17
• The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. Psalm 34:18

Consequently, what joy is ours because the Lord loves and cares for us. We are never alone. How could you not love Him? Jesus loves you just the way you are. He is what is missing in your life. He has been waiting for you to turn and accept His wonderful gift of eternal life. Therefore, be encouraged!

I believe that we are the generation that will see the Lord’s return to take His people home to be with Him in heaven. Are you ready?
