The consequences of a game show mentality can be devastating. I recently had my 66th birthday. I give Jesus Christ all the praise. Without Him in my life, It would have been doubtful if I would have made it to this point.
My younger brother passed in his forties. My mom passed when she was 56. Death is a reality that we all face. 100 percent of all people will die except for those who are caught up in the Rapture. So why all the fear and paranoia over a virus that is not any more deadly than the flu?
Perhaps because of the in-your-face propaganda spewed from all forms of media. Then there is the suppression of truthful facts that are being kept from us, little people. Along with denial, laziness, and so many other reasons.
The Elephant in the Room
Let’s deal with the elephant in the room. My website was created to share encouragement with those who are struggling. Been there, and still deal with stuff I would rather not.
Again, it is only because of Jesus Christ that I am able to encourage you because He has brought me through some stuff.
And if you are breathing, it’s because He has seen you through stuff also!
You can deny His existence and reject His love for you if you so desire. However, it does not change the Truth of God’s Word.
When you take that LAST BREATH in this short life, will you find yourself in His kingdom or will you find yourself in the kingdom of Satan?

Satan Enjoys Playing Games
Here is a list of games that the master deceiver plays with most people. I’m sure you could add more games to the list.
- Let’s Make a Deal
- The Price is Right
- To Tell the Truth
- Truth or Consequences
- You Bet Your Life
- Survivor
Satan has done his best work convincing people that God does not love you, you are your own god, the bible is out of date, we come from ET, you can have your best life now, blah, blah, blah.
So, what is going on is he keeps you focused on the tiny bit of time spent on this planet so you will ignore the reality of your eternal destination.
Promises, Promises
Because of mankind’s sinful nature, we can be easy prey. Money, power, fame, and pleasure are prizes many strive for. So, Satan whispers seductively in your ear:
- “let’s make a deal”.
- “I’m sure you will find that the price is right”.
- “You can bet your life on it”.
- “To tell the truth you don’t need to listen to anyone but yourself”.
- “The truth is there are no consequences for behavior”.
- “You are your own god; you are a survivor”.
“Just sign right here and enjoy the benefits of what I can offer you”. “Don’t worry about that legal fine print at the bottom”.
The Truth and the Consequences
On the other hand, the Word of God gives us the Truth we can rely on. He also includes the consequences of rejecting the truth. Jesus Christ paid the price on the cross to set you free from the grasp of satan.
However, the choice is up to each person to accept the gift of eternal life. Jesus told us that we would have many trials and tribulations in this fallen world. But, He would never leave or forsake those that put their trust in Him.
“These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33
My heart grieves for those in my family and for those who have not trusted in Jesus. They are blinded by the god of this age.
“in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” – 2 Corinthians 4:4
There is not much time left. Everything is coming together just as we were told in God’s Word. Jesus is returning to take His bride home.
Will you be ready?
You can rip the contract between you and Satan up. He knows it’s fake. A decoy. God is calling you to His side for all eternity!
Stop living with a game show mentality and cling to the One who tells you the Truth!
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” – John 14:6
